April 2019

Members met on 2nd April to hear an amusing talk on “Soil, Sweat and Tears” by Brian Carline.

As it was our 101st birthday, we had birthday cakes and sang Happy Birthday to ourselves!  After coffee and enjoying the cakes, we had a gardening quiz and the raffle was drawn and competition winners announced.

Next month, on Tuesday, 7th May 2019, will be our Annual Meeting, when an Adviser from County, Jan Nash, will talk to us and oversee the formal business of the evening.  After refreshments we will discuss the upcoming WI Resolutions and enjoy a game of Bingo and Scategories.

In June, we welcome back Simon Gallup, who will be giving us a talk on “Unknown Constable Country”.

Visitors are always welcome, so please come and give us a try!  We meet in Rayne Village Hall starting at 7.30 pm.
